Shah Alam, 22nd – A viral video showing an alleged crack on the 600-meter glass slide at I-City Theme Park in Shah Alam has shocked many. However, the park's management quickly stepped in to clarify that the so-called "crack" is actually a cable.

Some visitors had raised concerns after spotting what appeared to be a long crack on the glass slide, which stands 60 meters above the ground.

In response to the circulating video, I-City Malaysia posted on TikTok, addressing the public’s safety concerns. The video initially caused alarm as it seemingly showed a visible crack on the transparent glass structure of the 600-meter-long slide.

However, the park’s management reassured visitors, explaining that what was perceived as a crack was, in fact, a lighting cable attached to the outer part of the slide.

"It’s just a cable!" I-City Theme Park stated, emphasizing that "this is actually a lighting cable. We always prioritize everyone's safety, conducting daily maintenance and inspections before allowing anyone to ride."
