Malaysia: Body Found in Sungai Buloh River Near Shah Alam

A grim discovery was made in Shah Alam’s Section 22 yesterday morning when the body of a man was spotted floating in the Sungai Buloh River, behind a warehouse. The shocking find was reported at 11:14 AM.

Shah Alam Police Chief ACP Mohd Iqbal stated that police officers were dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving the report. The deceased, a man dressed in a red-and-black short-sleeved T-shirt and dark trousers, was found without any identification documents.

Initial investigations revealed no visible injuries on the body, and notably, no BCG vaccination scar was present on the man’s arm. This has raised questions about the individual’s background and nationality.

The body has since been sent to the Shah Alam Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination. The case is currently being investigated as a Sudden Death Report (SDR).

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in identifying the deceased or provide details surrounding the incident. Those with information are encouraged to contact Investigating Officer Sergeant Mohd Anzar at 013-6666657.
